Ladies and gents gathered to exchange Mabuhays and Holas as Spanish fashion house Massimo Dutti opened its doors at Greenbelt 5. The humble belt was the obvious choice to complete the ladies’ outfits. Those wearing dresses cinched their waists with belts to give them that sexy silhouette. Louche styles were aplenty, and many opted to go loose and comfy. The gents came in their sexy long sleeves and perfect-fit jeans.

Guests were treated to an exclusive preview of Massimo Dutti’s latest spring/summer collection for 2009. Bringing with it its sensible and sophisticated looks, Massimo Dutti has translated it into over 50 different ensembles that stood as a definition of the label. Featuring urbane silhouettes, the runway was filled with combinations of the current and classic looks for men and women.

Candice Cepeda

Candice dons a dress from Singapore, belt from River Island, a Zara bag and shoes from Barcelona.

Neny Montinola

Neny chose to wear a dress from Charina Sarte, shoes from Nine West and a clutch from Bangkok. Neny wanted to highlight an intricately patterned dress by accentuating it with muted pieces.

Karen Lima

Karen wears a Zara ensemble paired with shoes from Vincci and a bag from Louis Vuitton.

Camille Villar

Camille wears a gray Massimo Dutti dress. She wants to bring out her shape by tying the dress with the string at the hips. She also carries a beaded Massimo Dutti clutch that complements her outfit.

Mika Lagdameo

Mika wears a teal dress from Massimo Dutti paired with Nine West shoes and a Prada shoulder bag. She wanted to carry a youthful and easy style to the cocktail event.

Tootsie Angara

Tootsie’s in a Chanel dress that matched her Chanel bag. She pairs it with her shoes from Margiela.

Meryll is in a blue halter dress from Bangkok with a black vest that she got for a bargain and shoes from Charles and Keith. She finished it off with a vintage clutch. She felt like going vintage that evening with her choice of styling and the accents that go with it.
