The new Samsung Pixon M8800 shows us the bigger picture
MANILA, Philippines - Samsung continues to push the envelope with its mobile phone innovation, the Samsung Pixon M8800. Far from the ordinary point-and-shoot mobile phone camera, the newest Samsung Pixon M8800 demonstrates advanced features that offer nothing short of the spectacular.
The newest 8-megapixel wonder from Samsung Mobile, the Samsung Pixon M8800 captures the best of life’s memorable moments with state-of-the-art picture-taking functions, photo and video uploading features, and a large touch-enabled screen, all in a sleek and stylish dual-face feature.
Samsung Mobile showcased the newest Samsung Pixon with an exciting media tour with a show to demonstrate the phone’s awesome features. Guests were invited into the gallery which highlighted the Pixon M8800’s various capabilities such as Fast Advanced Shake Reduction, Face Tagging and Recognition, Auto Contrast Balance, Automatic Panorama Shot, Smile Shot, and Blink Shot features.
The gallery tour also exhibited the other features of the Samsung Pixon, which includes mobile blogging capabilities via popular social networking sites like Facebook, Friendster and Flickr. On top of all that, the Pixon has a very formidable Music Recognition Feature that has the ability to identify and display the title, artist and album cover of a song within the first few notes. The Pixon also makes photo browsing easier and faster with its impressive Photo Browser function that categorizes snapshots by time, color tone and composition.
After walking through the gallery, hosts Nikki Gil and Trishan Cuaso upped the energy of the guests as the program started. Samsung vice president for Marketing-Mobile Phones Samsung Electronics Philippines Charles Choi welcomed the guests and invited them to view the exciting Samsung Pixon audio-visual presentation. A lavish dinner was served while guests were further treated to show-stopping numbers from Billy Crawford and the All-Stars. Models clad in sophisticated black ramped and held the Samsung Pixon while roller skaters traced the Samsung Pixon’s infinity symbol around the guests.
Among the guests were fashion photographer and model Joan Bitagcol, beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles, TV host Daphne Osena Paez, lens man Yohann Espiritu, and retail-honcho Bryan Lim. Mike Huang with his lovely wife Cathy also joined in the night’s festivities, as well as VJ Maggie Wilson, Akihiro Sato and Rafael Rosell. The powerful 8-megapixel full touch-screen phone, an energetic crowd, and a full-on entertainment — all this added up to an enchanting, picture perfect evening.
