You’ll know Christmas is near, not by the number of mad dashes to the mall for gift shopping (which increases exponentially each day) or the rapidly increasing selection of fruit baskets by your doorstep, but by the number of Yuletide-themed cocktails you’ve imbibed throughout the holiday party circuit.

For a playful take on the perfect holiday dresses, we’ve transformed our favorite mannequin, Jasmine Maierhoffer, into that underrated Christmas style icon — no, not Mrs. Claus. We’re talking about Rudolph. (The leader of Santa’s reindeer pack did for the red nose what YSL did for le smoking jacket — he made it hot, hot, hot.)

Taking Rosanna Ocampo’s latest trunk show collection, a medley of festive frocks from pleated brocade dresses to forgiving jersey columns cut high on the hem which make for the perfect template for this season and beyond, we perched a pair of antlers on Jasmine’s riotous curls and channeled Rudolph.

To recreate the look, begin with a Hot Style Constructor to set the curls. Apply L’Oreal PlayBall Motion Gelee for movement and texture, and add Air Fix to hold the style. Finish with Crystal Gloss for ultimate shine. Create a defined eye and brow. Plump up lips with a rich red, like Paul & Joe’s moisturizing lipstick No. 27, available at Rustan’s Makati. Chug a couple glasses of spiked punch to get the red nose (no Jack Frost nipping necessary to get a flush on your proboscis). You’ll have people calling you Rudolph in no time.
