Fly girl

Someone like Anne Curtis would make good use of multiple pairs of shades. The gorgeous and sometimes controversial actress could hide from prying eyes while looking fashionably sharp. Fly Shades’ newest endorser loves to dress up, and now can easily match her eyewear to her outfit with over 300 styles to choose from. Inspired by French and Italian designs, the eyewear comes equipped with a UV400, flex-hinge electro-plating process to prevent corrosion. The best news is that each pair costs just around P300 or less, making safe and stylish eye protection accessible to everyone.

Cause celeb

Celebrated New York-based designer Rafe Totengco and graphic design company Team Manila have created a shirt to benefit the Tapulanga Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that helps provide educational, healthcare and micro-credit assistance to communities in the Hda. Tinihaban and neighboring areas, with the assistance of Marie Claire Philippines.

Established in 2001 and based in Silay City, the main project of the Tapulanga Foundation is providing educational scholarships for students of St. Francis of Assisi School located just outside Silay City, Negros Occidental.

For a mere P1,500, you can own something by Rafe and support this charitable cause.

Available at Team Manila stores at Archeology Power Plant Mall and SM Mall of Asia and the Rafe New York store at Greenbelt 5.

Visit the Tapulanga Foundation site at www.tapulanga.org to find out how you can help this worthy cause.
