The Lancôme Boutique has key areas: Nü makeup, skincare and fragrances. Upon entering, a Lancôme skincare expert will consult you with the products suited for your skin type. Myrna Vinaroa, Lancôme boutique supervisor, gave me a personalized Skin Diagnosis obtained by the Diagnos. There were certain tools that took extreme close-up pictures of my face showing problems like enlarged pores, pigmentation and fine lines.
From a dry spell, my skin type is normal to combination. But for this day, my main concern was brown freckly spots that made me look like Orphan Annie. The skincare expert suggested that I try the Whitening Treatment (P2,700). Here, they used a special whitening serum incorporated with a Nobel Prize awarded technology and ultra-sonic technique for visible whitening effect and to diminish brown spots.
With only one treatment room, it’s best to call for an appointment. It was like a nirvana room filled with hanging bed sheets resembling a white abyss; lights set the ever-changing mood and soothing music was playing in the background. The essential treatment included an in-depth cleansing and massage for the face which improved blood circulation. While I had the steam, the beauty expert massaged my arms with lotion. Ah, this multi-sensory beauty care gave the ultimate feeling of relaxation.
In the end, my face glowed like a baby and — ooh — there was a touch-up counter filled with Lancôme products. But before that, I was given suggested products in sample sizes for my morning and evening rituals, which promised results if used religiously.
