Schooled in style

MANILA, Philippines - Good day, class! You probably did something different this week. This week was about you. It ain’t easy out there in that teen-eat-teen world, what with the growing pressures brought about by school, relationships, social media and ridiculous body standards. (We’re looking at you, Victoria’s Secret Angels. And you, Magic Mike.) Already in its third year, Teen Week once again powered up future-ready teens by giving them the confidence to shape their future. By visiting a number of schools in Metro Manila, Teen Week discusses important issues on confidence, hygiene and dreams to young people today. They were joined by this year’s Teen Council — which includes inspiring figures like Chris Tiu, Alyssa Valdez, Enrique Gil and more — for their Teen Talks on self-confidence, pursuing passions and taking the future.

Teen Week 2015 took them from #MoveUpMonday which tackles teen life and goal setting, to #FutureFriday which discusses the importance of building lasting relationships. And of course, what would Teen Week be if it didn’t end with a bang? The entire week culminates in a daylong fair today, Sept. 11, in true teen fashion.
