Bazooka Rocks!
MANILA, Philippines - Pulp Live World announces the coolest and most exciting rock festival that will blow your socks off : Bazooka Rocks! It is a cool pop-punk festival featuring eight popular international bands: Avastera, A Skylit Drive, The Wonder Years, The Pretty Reckless, Marianas Trench, A Skylit Drive, Forever The Sickest Kids, The Maine and Mayday Parade playing back-to-back with three of the most promising young acts in the local rock scene — Penguin, Robin Nievera and Salamin. It will be held this Sept. 30 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia.
The Pretty Reckless is the goth-flavored rock band fronted by Taylor Momsen (formerly of the popular TV show Gossip Girl). Mayday Parade and Forever the Sickest Kids are two of the most popular new pop-punk bands to emerge in the last few years. A Skylit Drive is popularly known for their lighter and catchy take on metalcore and lead vocalist’s Michael “Jag” Jagmin’s uniquely high vocal range. Marianas Trench is one of Canada’s most popular new bands and is led by Josh Ramsay, whose production and songwriting credits include the blockbuster hit Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen. The Maine is one of the most popular young international pop-rock bands, their critically-acclaimed album “Pioneer” is locally available in leading record bars under Pulp Live Records. The Wonder Years is known for their critically acclaimed albums and their frenetic live sets worldwide. Australian band Avastera is currently heating up local charts with “December Sun” from their EP “The Clocks Have Ticked Too Long” released locally under Pulp Live Records.
