While folks in foreign lands bundle up and take comfort in their bulky parkas, our tryst with the “ber” months just warrants a tiny tweak to our regular wardrobe. This week, Young Star breaks down layering through versatile and reliable threads from Ellesse Italia. Think light and bright colored fabrics mixed in with classic prints like plaid and subtle striped detailing. The “ber” feel factors in by throwing on an appropriately insulated jacket to warm from the cool breeze, but not cage in the body heat. Our faux fall favorites pull from the layering made for fall/winter, but somehow still manage to keep in touch with the reality of tropical heat. It’s an updated summer get-up. Time to get cozy in our version of trusty faux fall fallbacks.
