(It airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m.) Sanctuary follows the adventures of the beautiful, enigmatic, and always surprising Dr. Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping) together with her team as they track down, study and protect the extraordinary and paranormal creatures called the “Abnormals” that secretly inhabit the world.

The series starts with forensic psychiatrist Dr. Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne) caught in the middle of a crime scene investigation. His unique expertise in behavioral science and knack for finding the strange and curious leads him to a different conclusion about the crime, too bad no one wants to believe him. Fascinated with this unique talent and not wanting it go to waste, Dr. Magnus recruits Dr. Will to join her team. A haunting past and his interest in the unusual drove Dr. Will to join in the study of beings he can hardly believe himself.

Together with Dr. Magnus’ fearless daughter Ashley (Emilie Ullerup), and the quirky tech-whiz Henry, the team uses their unique combination of instinct, medicine and cutting edge technology to find the creatures that lurk in the corners of the world and protect human beings from those too dangerous to be roaming free.
