Samsung 2009 AV roadshow: More than just watching TV

-

MANILA, Philippines - Samsung Electronics recently unveiled its range of audio-visual products for 2009 with a refreshing take on audio-visual entertainment. Reinforcing their leadership and pushing innovation higher and higher, the “Samsung 2009 AV Roadshow LED – A Whole New Species of Television” held in NBC Tent in The Fort, Taguig enlightened everyone about what’s next for audio-visual technology.

Guests were led into the product gallery by batches where they were introduced to the newest species of television, the Samsung LED Full High Definition TVs. Combining award-winning design with the most advanced technology, the TV guarantees a viewing experience like no other. It is beautifully slim with a breadth of only 1.2-inch and enabled by the latest in LED technology. It is also extremely light, weighing only 17.6kg and can be conveniently mounted on the wall, just like a picture frame or a piece of art.

The Samsung LED Full High Definition TV is built with energy efficient light emitting diodes which register low power consumption levels and is mercury-free. The LEDs produce darker blacks and crisper whites against vivid colors which results to picture quality that measure up to the natural beauty of life. Viewing experience is further enhanced with Auto Motion Plus frame interpolation technology to reduce motion blur. Imagine watching your videos, viewing your pictures, and listening to your music through pairing your pc with the TV via wireless router. It has full DLNA Wireless capabilities which allow streaming in your TV or more than one TV for multi-room entertainment. Samsung’s Medi@2.0 features a Content Library so you can enjoy a variety of pre-installed content such as recipes, art galleries, and even yoga. What’s more is that you can also utilize the USB 2.0 movie port for the ultimate viewing convenience.

The other galleries showcased Samsung’s latest LCD HDTVs which boasts advancements in black levels, color reproduction and motion quality to create clearer and more vibrant images. The Samsung Blu-ray HT-BD1255, the world’s first Blu-ray HT System has BD Live feature that enables convenient internet downloading, DNLA-capable and Full-HD sound and picture quality. Other perfect add-ons are the world’s first wall-mountable Blu-ray player Samsung BD-P4600 and the Samsung HT-SB1R Channel Speaker Bar. Samsung offers a wide array of digital cameras which incorporate smart innovations such as the world’s first ultra-wide 24mm Schneider lens with 10x optical zoom digital camera, a built-in Personal Multimedia Player, video recording, MP3 player, and Digital Image Stabilizer.

After the gallery tour, media guests were welcomed by ever-bubbly host Grace Lee into the main area. Samsung CTV product manager Roma Ramirez discussed the new advancements of Samsung products. Queries from the guests were answered by CEO and president Spencer Shim, vice president CE department Jay Ha, Samsung corporate marketing Head Glenn Glinoga, CE sales head Antonio Mauricio, and product marketing group head Amby Navarro.

Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp. CEO and president Spencer Shim relates, “For consumers who invest in the latest consumer electronics technologies, Samsung offers the best return for investment. When powered, our products offer superior enjoyment. Even when turned off, their superb designs allow them to stand proud to enhance the décor of any living area.”
