Bangkok dangerous style

CIRCUIT TRAINING - JR Isaac -

More than just Gwen Stefani, Harajuku fashion has definitely influenced many young people — such as the kids of Bangkok. Boys and girls walk the streets of Bangkok all decked out in fashion both cute and peculiar. Probably the most popular fashion trend is Cosplay (short for “Costume Play”), wherein you dress up as characters from manga, anime and tokusatsu comics. Meanwhile, teenage girls are influenced by one of the most popular fashion trends today: Lolita. You can easily identify these nymphets by their knee-length petticoat skirts, knee-high socks, lace trimmings and bonnets. Lolita also has subcultures such as Gothic, Sweet and Classic Lolita. Another fashion trend that will give Rainbow Brite the boot is Decora. Decoras wear bright clothes that are simply kawaii. They wear colorful stockings, bows, sparkles and Mary Janes. Not up for bright colors? Then enter the dark side of Gothic fashion. This group can easily be spotted by their black clothes, eyeliner and nails. They also wear boots, fishnets, lots of leather, lace and spikes.

The Bangkok-Japanese Festival transformed the streets into a runway of sorts. People attended all dressed up to enjoy the band, the food and the sights. These youngsters love to be photographed because they see how appreciated and adored they are for what they are wearing. It definitely takes a lot of style and guts to pull off Harajuku fashion. So, to the young people of Bangkok, go and strut your stuff!
