Im sure youve all seen it in the brightly lit store windows of the many L Timestudio watch boutiques. Maybe youve just noticed it in passing or maybe its bright-white, beautiful features lured you to take a closer look whichever the case, the newly launched, already-famous Tim Yap Limited Edition ODM watch is here.
Other than being a fully functional, hip and funky timepiece, the watch is a fashionable piece of staunch Filipino pride worn gamely on ones wrist for the entire world to see. As a matter of fact, I fell in love with this timepiece the moment I slid the smooth silicon strap on my wrist, and Im not the only one. Launched in globally renowned hotspots such as Fouquets in Cannes and Hotel Costes in Paris and right here at Embassy Superclub, the Tim Yap Limited Edition watch has already been seen sported by French Vogue editor Carine Rotfield, Lesley Mobo, D&Gs Stefano Gabana, and local celebrities and media mavens such as Donita Rose, Drew Arellano, Jenni Epperson and Celine Lopez.
How did this new must-have accessory come to be? Well, its the fusion of many things. International watch brand ODM sought an iconic moving force in modern Manilas thriving cultural and urban landscape to create a unique and limited- edition timepiece. They looked for someone who could firmly and proudly place the Philippines right in the middle of the global scene. No one fit the bill better than the unstoppable Tim Yap the fun, funky, hip force majeure in creative vision, out-of-the-box thinking and playful individuality. Through his presence in the various media, including television, print and radio, Tim has a remarkable influence on todays youth and always reminds them to be proud of their heritage. "We have so many things to be proud of," he shares. "Sometimes it takes us leaving the country to realize and appreciate who we are and what we truly have."
A genuine and timely message, and the perfect partner for ODM. Throw in a little Team Manila that helped make the design dream a reality and you have the funky white watch everyones raving about with a digital screen proclaiming "Im super proud to be Pinoy!"
A perfect blend to be sure, of an incredible watch company and an incredible individual, but beyond the hype, Tim wishes to emphasize through his creation its core message: a new form of Filipino time, so to speak, as a timeless force in the global scene. A valuable message to Pinoys everywhere and, if you ask me, its about time!
The Limited Edition Tim Yap ODM is available at all L Timestudio branches.
