A night of love and poetry

Love was brought to a different mindset at the NBC Tent as Nokia and Inno Sotto unveiled the latest trend-setting mobile phones, the Nokia L’Amour Collection. A trio of designed works of art, the Nokia 7360, Nokia 7370 and Nokia 7380, offers a beautiful mix of contrasts – infusing cultural and ethnic influences with luxurious touches of the unexpected. Hints of vintage craftsmanship are fused with natural materials, colors and patterns, all carefully crafted and layered with a passion for detail. The venue was covered in a sea of amber and white with fabrics hanging from the walls and ceiling. It also had a nautical-inspired stage designed with vine-like patterns projected on the walls, setting the perfect romantic mood.
Inno Sotto read a piece on love and its influences in life and work with thespians Joel Trinidad and Shereen Saiyed who beautifully played out the story as it was narrated.
After the performance, a DJ started playing light dance music as male models showcased the Nokia phones.
Guests feasted on a delightful array of gourmet food prepared by Margarita Fores and a wide selection of beverages that stuck to the color palette of the night in champagne, amber and gold.

Back in college, I distinctly remember clocking in six hours. It was such a luxury to just go on and on without having to worry about overseas charges as I had been studying in New York while my boyfriend was at school in London.
