The night Moet flooded Citrus

The newest hot spot in town opened its doors to Manila’s up-market partyphiles. Citrus, the former Venezia and Vbar, is now another example of the uncanny ability of architect and interior designer Anton Mendoza to transform the subdued, black and white former bar into a fresher, brighter but still cozy and posh New York or London-style watering hole.
The orange and lime-green Graphikote glass, mirrors, tempered glass bar tops and an intimate Moet & Chandon area with antique chandelier are all perfectly enhanced by well-placed ambient lighting.
Louie Ysmael of Nuvo fame proudly says of his new baby, "The interiors from the bar to the Moet & Chandon semi-circular booth to the restrooms have a nice welcoming and refreshing touch. Everything is crisp and clean. Our al fresco glass bar and tables are equally pleasant to look at and have since become the perfect place for those wishing to smoke or just grab some fresh air. We are also very proud of our excellent choice of music, depending on the day and the hour, and our first-rate service, two things which we have always been known for during our Venezia and Vbar days."
