People tend to call it the Philippine showbizs version of the Oscars, but the first Luna Awards, held at the Westin Harbor View Tent, is on a class of its own. With the women elegant in their designer best and the men simply dashing in their tuxes, coats and ties, the whole evening was a page taken straight out of the fabulous 50s. And with Moët and Chandon, the worlds premium champagne, joining in this grand celebration of Philippine film and artistry, the awards night transformed into a legendary party filled with inspiring talent, beautiful people, great fashion and sheer bubbly fun. From the red carpet to the awarding ceremonies to the Director Generals Ball, Moët and Chandon definitely added a touch of glamorous gaiety to the occasion and helped set the bar for what a real celebration should be like.
