Reminiscing over perfect moments with Pond’s

CIRCUIT TRAINING - JR Isaac -
Pond’s, for the re-launch of their new skin whitening vitamin leave-on range, played host to Manila’s top players in the beauty and fashion industry last March 1 at the Ayala Museum. Entitled Perfect Moments, the event aptly celebrated the perfect moments in a woman’s life which Pond’s helps her transform for. Special collections by three of the most sought-after fashion designers of today were unveiled. Rajo Laurel created the Pond’s Perfect Prom Collection, Dennis Lustico unveiled his Pond’s Perfect Debut Collection, and Randy Ortiz showcased his Pond’s Perfect First Date Collection. All three designers created stunning wedding gowns to celebrate the ultimate perfect moment, a woman’s wedding.

With the special collections unveiled, and with all the talk about empowering women to be as beautiful as they want to be, people couldn’t help but re-live and imagine their own perfect moments.

Angel Jacob

Who was your prom date?

I missed my prom. I had chicken pox. Poor me!

Francis Flores

What makes a woman beautiful?

Confidence, the right attitude and flawless, glowing skin!

Dondi Gomez

Why are whitening products important?

Because these products give women the chance to come close to the flawless rosy white skin they’ve always aspired for. It gives them the confidence to face the world and get the most out of life.

Maricris Perez Lontok

Describe the perfect wedding.

Starts on time, short ceremony, hors d‘oeuvres and lots of booze. Great food, yummy cake, right music to set the ambiance, but most importantly, happy guests and a happy wife.

Carla Sibal

What do you remember most about your first date?

I remember that I was more excited about the preparation than for the actual event: planning what to wear, going to the salon and the endless discussions with my girlfriends.

Kelly Misa

What’s the big transformation of your life?

The big transformation of my life wasn’t at all a big physical change that just happened in one day, but slowly realizing my worth and accepting my flaws. The more I learned to treat myself right, the more I felt beautiful.

Angela Poblador

What’s your best memory of your prom?

I was supposed to be set-up with this guy who’s really cute. He couldn’t make it then. That guy is now my fiancé.

Pepper Pineda

What makes a perfect moment?

Any moment has the potential to be a perfect moment – as long as I look and feel good, enjoy myself and, most importantly, spend that moment with the person I love.

Chris Monteron

Why do you like attending debuts?

Because the world and myself get to see young ladies bloom into amazing women.

Chechel Joson

How do you prepare women for those moments when they have to be perfect?

Perfect moments such as weddings take months of preparation. Months before the wedding, I ask the bride to make sure she takes care of her skin and has the proper eating habits. On the day itself, I make her realize the importance of beauty from within. Confidence is the first thing, makeup is just secondary.

Nicole Hernandez

Describe your perfect debut.

As long as my family and all the people that are important in my life are there, regardless of how big or small the guest list is, then that’s perfect.
