Whats the craziest thing youd do for love?

How far would you go for love? Its a question thats been asked through the ages. Those who dared to take their intense feelings to burning heights left their marks in history. They showed the world just how powerful true love could be. There were immortal lovers Antony and Cleopatra. As most would know, Antonys affection for the bold and beautiful Egyptian pharaoh brought him into a mortal conflict with his fellow Romans. Then there were Shah Jahan, ruler of the Mughal Empire, and Mumtaz Mahal. So all-consuming was the rulers love for his wife that when she died in 1629, his grief led to the creation of one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Majal. Employing 20,000 workers and 1,000 elephants, this grandiose monument of love took all of 20 years to build.
In more recent times, there was Annie Oakley, a tomboy who won the heart of Frank E. Butler, a skilled rifle shot champion, after beating him in a contest. They were married (it was no shotgun wedding) and soon after, Frank gave up his career to manage Annes. Annie Oakley then joined Buffalo Bills Wild West Show. Their love story is retold in the Irving Berlin musical Annie Get Your Gun.
Taking the (art) world by storm was the stormy love story of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera whose marriage survived despite the fact that they were both unfaithful to each other.
So, what do you think is the craziest thing youd do or had ever done for love?
DIETHER OCAMPO, actor: I actually wooed her with a good old-fashioned harana, which made her day.
ROVILSON FERNANDEZ, model/TV host: I would help her hide the bodies.
RYAN AGONCILLO, TV host: I went up a balcony. I got a tattoo. I drove in the middle of the night to the beach for a surprise visit.
KARA ONG, student: I guess the craziest thing Id do for love is to profess my undying love and affection for my guy in front of a really big crowd at the Araneta Coliseum.
GABBY DE LA MERCED, race car driver, athlete, TV host: Id dress up in a bunny suit and broadcast my love for him.
APRIL, marketing lady: I drove to his faraway Laguna office at night (talked to his crew to open the office for me), filled his room with balloons and left a gift at his desk to surprise him the following morning when he came to work.
JM RODRIGUEZ, TV host, Studio 23 VJ: The craziest thing I had done for love was to treat a special someone and this persons family to a really expensive vacation. Did I end up with this special someone? No. Now, thats crazy and stupid!
CARLO LEDESMA, TV host: Craziest thing I would do for love? Drop everything and move to another country to be with her (which I will; come July, Ill be taking my masters in film in Sydney, where my girlfriend also happens to be studying).
BRAD TURVEY, model: In the past, I quit my job but if its for true love, I dont think theres anything I WOULDNT do!
PAM ONG, writer: The craziest thing Id do for love: Profess my love by means of a billboard on EDSA, complete with my picture and some mushy words!!
LEAN OVIEDO, student: I distracted traffic by crossing a busy highway to say hi to a girl.
KC ABIOG, student: The craziest thing Id probably do for love is to lay my life on the line for the one I love; to travel a hundred or even a thousand miles just to see him for a minute.
MARGARETH GLORIA, student: Actually, I have two things in mind. First, the craziest thing I would do is to dance otso otso to please the guy. Secondly, I guess another crazy thing I would do just for love is to solve an econometrics problem to impress a guy.
STEPHANIE TAN, student: The craziest thing I ever did for love was to stalk the guy to know where he lives, watch him pass by, try to figure out his schedule, pray every night for us to bump into each other the next day.
KARISSA YEE, student: I would sing my heart out for him in a room full of people or I would run after him in the pouring rain to confess my undying love like they do in the movies.
TERESA ESGUERRA, student: Nothing really, Id probably be too busy going crazy over him.
CHOLO NERI, student: A day after our break-up, she said that she was going to a party. She was very sweet then, but I didnt reciprocate since I was still hurt, leaving her sad. I surprised her by going to the party, bringing along a friend, too. She was all smiles when we got there, hugging me tight. Something came up and my friend couldnt bring us home. He could only drop us at my house. I then took my uncles car to drive her home. When I came back, my uncle just woke up and no one had a clue that I took his car.
