Objects of fixation

- Audrey N. Carpio -
Alittle east of Eden you shall find many answers to that eternally infernal question: Oh, what to wear?

Summer’s out, but beach trips never let up – Havaianas, those other rubber necessities, have flip flopped their way down these shores and into our hearts, from Brazil by way of Australia. Tsinelas kooo! we are all humming in happy shrieks. For dressier luau-poolside type parties, wooden sandals painted with exotic flora and sexy sequins are sure to get you leid.

Look like you’ve been somewhere – globalism may be untrendy and travel might be afflicted, but fun prints in "I picked this up at the so-and-so market " add a touch of (economy) class. Dots, roses in upholstery hues, and a little ethnic flavor all translate to something approaching je ne sais quoi.

Black is always the new black (and green is the new pink): Gimmick staple and insta-slimming technique not merely, wearing black this year signified something else – it was a statement of protest in ludicrous times. Go not gently into the night(club).

Bring on da peace – at the end of the day, do something you can be proud of. Be thoughtful and buy something for someone else. Happy shopping!
