A loftier party place
November 29, 2002 | 12:00am
They knew the boys couldn’t resist the concept. Billiards, booze and good food in a wide space, busy of Quezon City. And they were right! Randy Cabangon Chua, Lloyd Joven, Ian Tiongson and Vince Arellano recently celebrated year two of Loft 216, their bar/restaurant/billiards the Blue Ridge stretch.
It was a fete not just for their friends and loyal customers who have made Loft the success that it is, but also for the four young entrepreneurs who pooled their meager resources just to bring their idea to reality: That of putting up a place would be like their buddy’s garage  only it’s bigger and air-conditioned and with billiard tables that are the best in town.
Food and drinks overflowed that evening, and the huge billiard tables were, of course, never vacant. Family and friends who toasted to the success of their favorite hangout included: singer Dianne dela Fuente, Karen Joven, Daniele Arellano, actor Emilio Garcia with wife Pinky Therese Singson, Keith Peralta and more.
Loft 216 continues to be the hangout and party place for yuppies and barkadas in Quezon City. For reservations, call 647-8113.
