‘PA’ magazine for the youth launched

Response Publications, Inc. is giving the youth a new base where they can talk, write, read about themselves or simply be themselves in a new magazine called PA.

Ramon and Irene Silos, the couple behind the communications company called Creative Response, decided to create a magazine which will serve as a forum for the youth. Ramon Silos is the publisher, wife Irene is in charge of business development and Jou Jou Into is the editor.

Why PA, "pa" being a Tagalog prefix? Pa connotes respect, as well as sharing — pabasa nga or pabili nga po. Thus, PA will serve as a platform for healthy discussions for the young, with ages from 16 to 22. PA will also provide insights on life’s day-to-day situations, providing options for value-formation. The magazine will give elbow room for the young to express themselves. Most of the writers are students of universities and colleges.

Priced at P20, the 24-page PA will come out on the 15th and 30th of each month. The magazine’s maiden issue has Piolo Pascual on the cover. Reponse Publication is located at 217 Nicanor Garcia Street, Bel Air 11, Makati City. For inquiries, call 897-4390 and fax (632) 899-4073.
