V Bar is open

It seemed like a very short mourning period for those who missed Venezia, which was one of the hottest nightspots in Makati. Only a short six weeks after Venezia closed, a new one was born under the name V Bar. The entire look of the bar is new, save for slight remnants of memorabilia from the old bar such as the Venetian masks and the two main bars. Black and white dominates the walls and decor, which gives it a very modern lounge look and feel.

Despite the heavy rains, people swarmed to the packed by-invitation-only opening night. The same crowd, the same music, the same food was experienced that night, only this time amid different surroundings. People stayed on until 5am on that weeknight opening, signaling that the good old days are back! Venezia is gone, long live V Bar!
