Considering the fact that Simon Wells is the great grandson of HG Wells himself, you would think this 21st century version of The Time Machine, Wells' celebrated 1895 novel, would do justice to the book's original intention and allegory.
Unfortunately, what we get is an entertaining, visually stunning, yet utterly meaningless piece of fluff that will be forgotten almost immediately after you exit the cinema.
