It’s game time for these ‘Ang TV’ teens

- From the Philippine Star’s YS -
What do Khalil Kaimo, Luigi Muhlach, Shaina Magdayao and Nicole Andersson have in common aside from the hit series Ang TV? A hyped-up and fun-filled day at the G2L3, Glorietta’s new teen entertainment zone where teenagers these days find all that they are looking for in a shopping center – clothes shops, shoe stores, accessories stalls, food carts, music depot and an arcade.

All four answered Timezone as their favorite spot. And as it happened, it was the group’s first stop. Off they went to their favorite game machines – Fatal Judgment, Time Crisis, Spider Stompin’, Air Hockey and the ultra-famous Dance Dance Revolution – as onlookers gawked and stared in awe at the young actors. Then towards the end of their timezone trip, they all played Super Shot and Final Furlong together. The four had so much fun, it took a while for them to leave the place.

They window-shopped at the Red Lane, Glorietta’s fashion bazaar site where bargain basement-priced apparel shops can be found. "Sarap mag-shopping dito," said Shaina. "Kasi I still have my space, I feel like I can be relaxed and there are a lot of store choices." Nicole joined, "I create accessories, so it’s nice to know there are cute accessories stands here."

The girls lingered on for a while longer while the boys appealed to check out Toby’s Sports Arena. Soon thereafter, all four were already seriously going through the racks for rubber shoes, swimsuits, socks and other sports stuff. They even played billiard at the billiard table prototype. Of the four, Luigi seemed to be the most interested in the sport. "I play billiards with either my dad or my friends," says the 14-year-old Muhalach. "That’s what I normally do when I take a break."

Nicole and Shaina hit Kids at Work while Khalil and Luigi waited on. this playground is for younger kids, though the girls found a bit of fun goofing about and trying it out.

Mall rats for a day, camaraderie outside Ang TV, and sponsored by Ayala Center Makati definitely made it worth these kids’ whiles to skip their usual routine of school and work. The eldest of the foursome, Khalil Kaimo noted, "I like walking around the mall with friends to try out everything and Ayala, compared to other malls, is classy, safer and a very nice place to shop in."
