Merrick

The plot: Merrick, the powerfully sensuous Mayfair witch, is able to tempt Louis into bringing the long-dead Claudia back from the grave. David Talbot enters the scene and falls under the spell of Merrick, too.

The grade: the novel is delivered in typical Anne Rice style, nothing special. A new character, Merrick, was introduced and the author was able to join the twisted universe of the Mayfair witches and vampires. Die-herd fans will love this but for those who are looking for a good bedtime story … look for another book.
