Why are these models so cheerful?

Well, maybe it’s because they’re cheerleaders.

It was a show of pep and exuberance as young people converged at the Alabang Town Center to celebrate the success of the Town Cheers cheering competition.

The coolest and most popular young girls and boys from OB Montessori, Southville International School, Olivarez College, De La Salle Zobel, De La Salle University, College of St. Benilde and St Benedict College strutted their stuff both on the pep court and the ramp when the cheerleaders themselves, all dolled up by the Beauty Bar, modeled clothes from Cinderella’s youthful lines such as Esprit, Naf Naf, Sisley, British India, Seventeen Young Co., Infocus and Mickey Unlimited. Yes, minus the pompoms this time but to the party music of K24/7 and DJ Brian Gomez’s groove.

Garnering the top prizes in the Alabang Town Center’s Town cheering tilt are the De La Salle Zobel (high school) and De La Salle University (college), each bagging P15,000 cash and 10,000 worth of gift certificates from Cinderella, TGI Fridays and Timezone. The DLSU-St. Benilde team showed enough spunk to be named the Ralph Lauren Team, while cheerleaders Bea Ramirez, Rey Angeli Yap, Tin Tin Marquez, Sherill Pallorina, Katrina Abigail Morales, David See, Ana Lopez, Tina Barreto and Maite Tamparong were all named outstanding performers.
