Shaina Shines in Pretty Particles

- From the Philippine Star’s YS -
Smart and confident yet possessing that undisguised innocence. These qualities, not to mention her charming looks, made Shaina Magdayao—almost past her childhood but not quite a teener—the perfect choice to be Pretty Particles’ image model, a role she’s been playing for a year now.

Pretty Particles, the younger sister of Particles, is a line of pre-teens wear. Stylish new designs of Pretty Particles are now out in the market to satisfy the discriminating taste of pre-teeners today.

Shaina confesses that she has a certain fondness for modeling the outfits because they comfortably fit her and match her chic taste. It is no wonder then that she sports Pretty Particles clothes in most of her TV appearances.

Shaina loves modeling for Pretty Particles in road shows and mall tours, saying it’s a lot like playing around. "I’m so at ease with my outfits that I could just move around anyway I want without the icky feeling. What’s more, I get to bring home some Pretty Particles clothes after the show. I go shopping and head for home in those clothes."

At a very young age of 11, Shaina takes her studies seriously. She always makes sure that all her television or movie tapings are done after school hours or on weekends. "Tita Monch (Shaina’s manager) does not allow me to miss or even skip my classes. She always tells me that my studies should my priority."

What makes Shaina busy in her acting career is an upcoming sitcom to be aired on ABS-CBN.

Asked why she thinks she was chosen to endorse Pretty Particles, Shaina says, "Since I am in my pre-teens myself, perhaps they see me as somebody who young girls can look up to when it comes to fashion."
