Partying with the less privileged

- From the Philippine Star’s YS -
Eventscape Manila has become synonymous to successful and innovative events. Recently, they mounted a milestone event which was unlike any other event they have ever done. There were no bright lights, loud music, models or celebrities. Instead, the event they mounted only had games and food. Yet the guests were extremely delighted for their effort. It was an event for a group of street children and orphans of the Concordia Children’s Services Orphanage.

Eventscape Manila’s staff spent the whole afternoon conducting games and sharing the delicious food with the kids. As the afternoon progressed, the kids then treated all their kuya and ates from Eventscape to a program. It was heartwarming to watch them sing and dance with all their hart and soul poured into their short production.

According to Eventscape’s marketing director Stephen Ku, they have definite plans to have more outreach activities for orphans and street children. He adds, "It’s a chance for us to share the blessings and support our clients and sponsors have been giving us. Mini-Keyk and Cookies are our sponsors for this specter event and they have been very generous in providing gift packs for the kids. Our clients are even excited to physically help us in other outreach programs in the future. This project will definitely be a long-term event for us."
