Heart Evangelista-Marian Rivera conflict: True or gimmick?
Kapuso stars Marian Rivera and Heart Evangelista reportedly figured into an altercation during the final shooting days of their upcoming movie. Television host and Esquire Philippines editor Raymond Gutierrez confirmed on his talk show that this altercation took place while the actresses were filming.
Heart and Marian co-star in the remake of Temptation Island – a Regal Films production that narrates the misadventures of four beauty contestants as they got stranded on a desert-island. Marian Rivera reprises the role of a con artist originally portrayed by Azenith Briones while Heart Evangelista portrays a college student originally played by Dina Bonnevie.

Also starring with Heart and Marian are Solenn Heussaff, who will portray the role of a social climber originally played by Bambi Arambulo, and Lovi Poe, who will bring life to the role of a socialite originally played by Jennifer Cortez.
Several entertainment writers from various media outfits had expressed their thoughts on the issue. Some say that the supposed altercation was done intentionally to generate buzz on their upcoming remake of Joey Gosiengfiao’s Temptation Island. Some, on the other hand, maintain that the altercation indeed took place, and if not for timely intervention, the two could have gone physical.
Heart has already broken her silence, putting a halt on the altercation issue with Marian Rivera but the altercation issue still subsists. Whether gimmick or not, the issue has indeed brought buzz to their upcoming movie. Whether this buzz would yield positive result is yet to be found out.
