Cavite’s Long Beach Resort reopens
CAVITE, Philippines — The old Long Beach Resort in Barangay San Rafael IV in Noveleta, Cavite province was reopened on Valentine’s Day with new attractions.
Noveleta Mayor Dino Chua led the opening of the renovated resort’s newly constructed pools and the new inflatable park.
“We added these two new attractions – the pool and inflatable grounds – to attract both local and foreign tourists to our famous beach in preparation for summer season,” Chua said.
The beach is open to the public free, but Chua reminded visitors to “please dispose of your trash properly, so that our beach will maintain its cleanliness.”
The beach has also food stores, a pavilion, comfort rooms, shower rooms and a number of cottages.
The swimming pool has a minimal entry fee of P200 for whole day until midnight, while the Inflatable park has an entry fee of P200 for two hours’ use. Banana Boat and Flying Fish rides will soon open, before summer season starts.
Long Beach Resort has been a sanctuary for marine turtles during breeding season from October to January.
Last Jan. 8 and 15, hundreds of marine turtle hatchlings were released into the sea by officials of the local government and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources.
