Palawan resort named best sustainable boutique hotel
MANILA, Philippines - Pangulasian Island, a resort in El Nido, Palawan, was hailed Southeast Asia's Best Sustainable Boutique Hotel at the World Boutique Hotel Awards.

Pangulasian Island is an Idyllic island getaway with 42 villas.
The awards giving body describes it as "a resort, built on a private island, (that) has been tastefully designed in harmony with the natural beauty of the island; the upkeep of the grounds is meticulous, and a huge effort has been made to ensure that the resort is as eco-friendly as it can be."
Aside from Pangulasian Island, El Nido Resorts also won the Asia's Responsible Tourism Award 2015, beating Alila Manggis, Indonesia, Andaman Discoveries, Orange County Resorts and other three nominees.

The award was given on October 30 in London.
