Cathay Pacific launches new Madrid service
MANILA, Philippines - Cathay Pacific Airways announced the launch of a new four-times-weekly service from Hong Kong to Madrid by June 2, 2016. The new service will provide convenience for business and leisure customers traveling between the two cities, and give passengers traveling from Southern Europe easier access to key destinations in Mainland China and Asia.
Strategically located in the Iberian Peninsula, Madrid is culturally rich yet cosmopolitan. The vibrant city is an important financial and business center that also draws leisure travellers from around the world, thanks to its historical landmarks and rich heritage. It is also home to Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid, two of Europe’s biggest football teams.
Tickets for the new Madrid service are already on sale. To ensure passengers enjoy a superior inflight experience, Cathay Pacific will operate flights using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft fitted with the airline’s award-winning Business Class, new Premium Economy and long-haul Economy Class seats. A state-of-the-art on-demand entertainment system in all classes will help keep passengers relaxed and entertained.

The tentative flight schedule for Cathay Pacific’s Madrid (MAD) service from June 2, 2016 is as follows (all times local): For the summer schedule 2016, flight CX315 (HKG-MAD) departs at 0045 and arrives at 8:45 a.m., and flight CX320 (MAD-HKG) departs at 12:25 and arrives 7:05 a.m. +1 (Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun). Winter 2016 schedule has flight CX315 (HKG-MAD) which departs at 00:45 a.m. and arrives at 8:10 a.m., and flight CX320 (MAD-HKG) departs at 11:20 p.m. and arrives 7:05 a.m. +1 (Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun).
