Flavors celebrates Vegetarian Month

MANILA, Philippines - This October, Holiday Inn & Suites Makati joins in celebration of World Vegetarian Month, an annual awareness campaign that started in 1977 and endorsed by International Vegetarian Union founded in Germany “to promote the joy, compassion and life-enhancing possibilities of vegetarianism.”

Guests may take part in the celebration by bringing family and friends to a buffet-style lunch or dinner to enjoy meatless food selections at Flavors Restaurant where they can enjoy a variation of vegetarian dishes such as Cannelloni with Ricotta and Spinach, Grilled Marinated Vegetable Kebab with Lime sauce, Grilled Eggplant with Couscous and Yogurt dressing, Vegetable Lasagna, Pakchoy Vegetable with Tofu, White Kimchi, Spinach in Filo Pastry with Tomato Basil sauce, Vegetable Ratatoille, and Spinach and Potato Gratin.

Even Flavors’ dessert selections are mixed with pastries that feature vegetable as a main ingredient such as Carrot Cake, Chocolate Beetroot Cake and Sweet Potato Cake.
