A tour of the breezy city that is Antipolo
MANILA, Philippines - Homegrown hotels, resorts, and attractions are gaining ground in the uptown city of Antipolo.
A local tourism spot known for the miraculous icon, Nuestra Señora dela Paz Y Buenviaje, Antipolo holds undiscovered historical riches, arts and culture, architecturals structures, nature resorts, and spas that are flocked by families, tourists, and organizations, among other visitors.
Being a nearby respite from the pressures of the metropolis, one of the most popular ways to enjoy this breezy urbanized city is through the “Tayo na sa Antipolo!” promo tours, which provides tourists with a unique way of enjoying the high lands of the eastern part of Metro Manila.
The one-day tour includes a journey to the historical Antipolo Cathedral and Pasalubong Center, giving visitors a taste of native delicacies such as sticky rice (suman), kasoy, and kalamay.
Other attractions included in the package are the city’s landmark Pinto Art Museum, and Loreland Farm Resort, an eight-hectare resort where one can find the famous Tipolo Tree from where Antipolo got its name.
Meanwhile, just a short distance from the resort is a newly built hub for health and wellness called Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa — famous for its infinity pools and commanding view of Laguna de Bay and the Manila skyline — and the Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Restaurant where guests are treated with an Asian-inspired dinner amid a showcase of regional Philippine furnishings and décors.
