Tiger Resorts helps Gawad Kalinga

MANILA, Philippines - Employees of Tiger Resorts Leisure and Entertainment Inc. recently spent a day in a Gawad Kalinga project in Parañaque City, laying bricks and mixing cement to help 634 families get settled in their own homes. ‘Our support for this project is part of our commitment to the people and communities of the Philippines,’ said Tiger president Kenji Sugiyama. Aside from the volunteer man-hours, the company also supplied construction materials and donated financial help. ‘I’m happy that they decided to come here and help us with the work. There’s so much to be done and the future homeowners greatly appreciate their help,’ said Cokes de Leon, Gawad Kalinga project director.
