Diamond, Dusit to observe Earth Hour
MANILA, Philippines - Diamond Hotel Philippines turns off its lights tomorrow, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., in support of Earth Hour 2014, a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
The hotel will participate by switching off lighted signages and much of the hotel lights during Earth Hour, while the lobby and restaurant outlets will be lit with candles for one hour to symbolize their commitment to this endeavor.
Guests are invited to spend Earth Hour at any of the hotel restaurants and bars —Corniche, Lobby Lounge, Yurakuen, Sky Lounge and Poolside Bar — and enjoy a 60 percent off on all drinks from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. There will also be a DJ spinning at the poolside during the hour.

Dusit Thani Manila joins the rest of the world in observing Earth Hour tomorrow, 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., to celebrate its commitment to the planet.
Selected employees of the hotel have prepared a special performance for in-house guests in celebration of Earth Hour at the hotel’s lobby at 8:30 p.m.
For its restaurants, the hotel has sourced out environment-friendly and livable ingredients to ensure sustainable purchasing and operational practices and improve the long-term health of its guests.
Hotel specialty restaurants such as UMU, Benjarong and Tosca will offer set menus for dinner tomorrow and lunch and dinner from Sunday to April 6.
