MANILA, Philippines - Fontana Hot Spring Leisure Parks is long-known for being among the top hotels and leisure parks north of Metro Manila.
This remains true until now, even if there are already a number of newer hotels in the area, thanks to a renewed interest in Clark as a tourist destination. In fact, during last month's 7107 International Music Festival, Fontana is one of the first hotels to be fully booked. It was also a popular choice among artists and celebrities during the two-day event.
Fontana is not just a hotel; its very expansive complex also has villas as well as a number of tourist amenities. Apart from a casino, it has a nine-hole mini golf course and a full 36-hole golf course. Apart from the outdoor swimming pool, Fontana has hot springs as well as a water park.
The hotel rooms spell elegance. Although not as spacious as some of the less pricier hotel options in the area, one will get their money's worth here. The standard room is around P7,000 a night, around the same price as their two-bedroom studio-type town house (their two-bedroom standard villa costs P11,000 for an overnight stay).
Inclusions of the hotel room are a breakfast for two at Cafe Fontana and use of the casino, swimming pool, beach hut, and tennis court.
Use of their other amenities have separate entrance fee
The staff, as expected, is friendly. Those who would require transportation around the city can avail of their car service for a reasonable fee.
All in all, Fontana Hot Springs Leisure Parks is no budget hotel, but it's definitely worth its price; you wouldn't even have to go out of the Fontana to enjoy a fabulous vacation this side of the country thanks to their numerous amenities.
