Cathay Pacific, SM Department Store launch promo

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Your chances for traveling in 2014 just got better as Cathay Pacific Airways and SM Department Store’s Shop and Fly Anywhere in the World promo takes off.

Launched recently at the SM Megamall Atrium, the special event hosted by Gabby Concepcion brought together Cathay Pacific and SM executives, as well as representatives of partner banks.

To celebrate the start of the exciting promo, round-trip tickets to Hong Kong and SM gift certificates were raffled off to guests.

Cathay Pacific country manager Martin Xu and SM Store president Jorge Mendiola led the ceremonial toast, and were joined by executives from BDO, BPI, Citibank, EastWest Bank, Metrobank, PNB, and RCBC.

According to Cathay Pacific sales and marketing manager Ryan Uy, the Shop and Fly Anywhere in the World promo “is one of the most exciting and biggest things Cathay Pacific has lined up for the year. We are happy to be partnering with SM Department Store to send 60 lucky travelers to any of the over 170 destinations we currently fly to. This signals a wonderful beginning to 2014, and a fantastic one for Cathay Pacific.”

A total of 60 lucky shoppers will win round-trip tickets for two each to fly anywhere in the world via Cathay Pacific.

Winners who select Hong Kong as their destination will also get the chance to try out Cathay Pacific’s new Premium Economy Class service.

Every P5,000 single receipt purchase at any SM Department Store, using any of the participating credit cards, qualifies as an entry.

The Shop and Fly Anywhere in the World promo runs until March 31.
