AES slated at PICC

MANILA, Philippines - The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), the Philippine International Convention Center and the Association of Development Financing Institutionswill jointly organize the Association Executives Summit (AES) on Nov. 19-20 at the Meeting Room 4 of PICC.

The AES is an educational and networking event that will bring together top association leaders in the Philippines. It aims to increase the number of international events being held in the country by encouraging local associations to bid for and host international conferences, meetings and exhibitions.

The event will teach association executives the benefits of hosting international meetings, how to work with international associations in bidding for events and strategies for excellent congress management.

Moreover, the AES program is designed to strengthen the governance and leadership skills of associations. Educational sessions include topics such as Characteristics of a Remarkable Association; Building High Performance Boards, Staff and Organizations; Membership Recruitment and Retention; and Developing Sponsorship/Fundraising Strategies.

Well-respected leaders and advocates in the association meetings industry such as Susan Sarfati of High Performance Strategies LLC; Liz Jackson of Jackson Consulting Inc.; and Monette Hamlin of TeamAsia have confirmed to speak at the event.

The AES event will also launch the Philippine Council for the Advancement of Association Executives (PCAAE), which will gather under one movement top association leaders to raise the Philippines’ association industry to the highest level of professionalism, integrity and creativity.
