MANILA, Philippines - Flight 001 (pronounced “flight one”) the world’s premiere travel store, has finally made its way to the region and is excited to announce its aggressive expansion plans in various key cities all over Asia.

“Flight 001 is quickly becoming a global brand, which is a vision Brad (John) and I have had for the company from the start. And we are particularly excited and passionate about our latest expansion in Asia,” said John Sencion, co-founder of Flight 001.

Whether in Indonesia, Bangkok, and the Philippines, the first-ever Flight 001 stand-alone stores that were put up feature interiors designed to give the look and feel of a 747 jet fuselage. Complete with curved walls, wood paneling, and a retro-modern ticket counter, the stores are reminiscent of the glamorous jet-set era of the 50s and 60s.

Serving as a one-stop travel store, Flight 001 was “conceived” back in 1998 during Air France Flight 023, somewhere between New York and Paris wherein two business travelers, John and Sencion, who had spent far too much time preparing for their trip, envisioned a travel store as streamlined as the flight itself.
