Spain is newest destination for Lyceum Manila students

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Students of the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) of the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU), Manila campus, may now do their practicum training in some of the leading hotels, resorts and fine dining restaurants in Spain. This program was made possible through the partnership of the university and Nexus Training and Mobility, which is affiliated with these leading tourism, hospitality and food and beverage establishments in the Castilian destination. The program provides LPU students with hands-on experience in various facets of operations of these establishments, while being provided with free accommodations, free meals and a generous stipend to cover their personal necessities. Shown during the signing of the memorandum of agreement are (seated, from left) Cristina Martinez Bordonau, general manager, Nexus Training and Mobility; Ma. Christina Aquino, LPU director for planning and development; (standing, from left) CITHM practicum chairperson Rovena Dellova; CITHM senior officer-in-charge Bob Zozobrado; and Cherry May Palacio of Pearl of the Orient Educational Career and Consultancy. For more information on this new destination for students’ on-the-job training, contact the LPU-Manila’s CITHM office at 527-2744.
