What you would normally find in five-star hotels are here such as the exclusive Sky Lounge, which has a fantastic 270-degree view that only gets better at night during the laser show at Marina Bay Sands Casino or the aircraft formation display and fireworks on Singapore’s National Day (Aug 9) and especially on New Year’s Eve and the Lunar New Year.
A room at the Premier Club Floors means checking in at the 22nd floor Sky Lounge where coffee and tea is available throughout the day and complimentary cocktail is offered from 6PM to 8PM, a perfect way to start your night by having wine and snacks. You can also choose to have your breakfast here or at Coleman’s Café in the 5th floor.
Ask for a room on the side with the aforementioned view and you’ll feel like staying in there all day and night. But with the hotel a mere walking distance from Clarke Quay, Marina Bay Sands, the City Hall MRT, and a host of shopping arcades, how could you?
I would even later find out that Peninsula.Excelsior is one of the trackside hotels for the F1 Singapore Night Race and that you could even watch the entire event from the Sky Lounge.
The hotel has two pools, The Stillwater and The Falls, which is a see-through glass one. It also has a gym, a sauna, and spaces for meetings and banquets.
And perhaps even more enticing is that most of the staff is Filipino, whose warm hospitality is known worldwide in the hotel industry.
