Marriott Hotel goes Aussie on Jan. 26

MANILA, Philippines - Marriott Hotel Manila is kicking up January with a party and eating experience like a true-blue Aussie. Sashay your way to the land down under on Jan. 26, Australia Day, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., for a lavish poolside barbeque and wine party for only P2,500 net.

Party and good food go hand in hand, so what better way to get into the party mood than with the lavish yet relaxed poolside party highlighting all-around stellar eats from Australia.

The al fresco buffet features shrimps, petit grilled steaks, lamb, fish, meat pies, cured meats, and desserts with butter, cream and jellies. Beverage selections from sparkling water to wine are courtesy of the Wine Warehouse. Plus, the cocktails and drinks are either fierce or ingenious, a symbol of Australia’s stylish boozers everywhere.

And as an antidote to these exciting food choices, the band will play cool classic rock songs to launch the evening. The live music will revolve around the songs of famous Aussie musicians such as Silver Chair, Kylie Minogue, and Olivia Newton-John, among others.
