Makati Shangri-La hosts concierges' monthly assembly

MANILA, Philippines - The Makati Shangri-La, Manila (SLM) was privileged to host the monthly assembly of the Les Clefs d’Or Philippines (LCDP) last June 21, in preparation for the 60th International Congress of Hotel Concierges to be held in Queenstown, New Zealand in April 2013. Headed by LCDP president Leo Hidalgo, the members were welcomed by SLM area general manager Reto Klauser, executive assistant manager of rooms Chi Angeles-Ofiana, and front office manager Frencie Duadua. In the same event, an honorary membership pin was conferred on Klauser. Aside from the anticipation for the international congress, the LCDP Executive Committee also conducted interviews for applicants for adherent and full memberships for qualified hotel concierges nationwide. Held at the Makati-B function room, this was made possible through the efforts of SLM chief concierge Jing Castalla, and assistant chief concierge and LCDP treasurer Joseph Celestial.
