MANILA, Philippines - Following the groundbreaking group-wide initiative of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts to provide complimentary Internet access in guestrooms and public areas in 2009, Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa, Cebu has taken this service a notch higher by providing Wi-Fi Internet access in all of its airport and city shuttle buses. Hotel cars equipped with Wi-Fi are also available upon request.
This pioneering product allows guests to stay connected even while on the road, creating unparalleled value in terms of work efficiency and savings on mobile Internet services.
At Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa, Cebu, Wi-Fi is also available in lounges, function rooms and Ocean Wing guestrooms, while high-speed broadband Internet access is available in all guestrooms.
To ensure that work efficiency is kept at an optimum level, the hotel provides Internet connectivity at 16 megabits per second. When the business level of the hotel increases, adjustments for additional bandwidth are made to ensure a high level of user satisfaction.
These Internet services are offered to guests at no additional charge.
