Macau to host 6th Asian Hairdresser Festival
MANILA, Philippines - New techniques, styles and trends of hairdressing will be showcased in the sixth Asian Hairdresser Festival on June 27-29 at the Cotai Expo Hall D of the Venetian Macao Resort-Hotel.
The Asian Hairdresser Festival (AHF), organized by the Asian Hairdesigner Association (AHA), is the biggest hair event in Asia, providing hairdressers with a platform to display their creativity, ingenuity and innovation, and the opportunity to network with fellow experts and to learn from each other.
The masters of hairdressing will give visitors a peek into the new trends in hairstyling during the festival. The AHF is blazing new trails in hairdressing not just in Asia, but also in the world.
The festival is divided into seven main parts: exhibition, competition, seminar, forum summit, awarding ceremony, master hair show, and trend release.
This is the second year Macau is hosting the AHF regional event. It also hosted last year’s festival.
The first Asian Hairdresser Competition was held in Malaysia in 2006, and the second, in Thailand. Guangzhou, a province of China, hosted the third and fourth AHF regional events.
It is expected that this year’s sixth AHF in Macau will attract an even bigger number of people.
