Prince Albert offers gourmet lunch boxes
MANILA, Philippines - Try something different for lunch this January. The Prince Albert Rotisserie at InterContinental Manila offers gourmet lunch boxes for guests in a hurry.
A complete meal in itself, each gourmet lunch box contains an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert and is priced at P1,350++.
There are five boxes to choose from: Box 1 (Crispy Curry Rice Seafood Dumplings with Scallion, Coriander, and Smoked Tomato Chutney; Leeks and Mussels Saffron Soup; Braised Chicken with Lemon Confit, Green Olive Tajine, and Potato Miettes with Parsley and Garlic; and Dark Chocolate Moelleux with Kahlua Sauce); Box 2 (Home-smoked Parrot and Salmon with Dill Honey Cream Relish; Minestrone with Basil Pesto; Pork Shank Osso Bucco Milanaise Gremolata with Cheese Risotto; and Raspberry Brulé and Vanilla Shortbread); Box 3 (Cheese Ravioli with Roasted Pine Nuts Cream Sauce; French Onion Soup Gratinée; Pan-fried Seafood Crab Cake with Lobster Sauce and Asparagus Mushrooms Ragout; Potato Cocotte; and Green Pistachio Soft Biscuit scented with Garden Basil Leaves); Box 4 (Grilled Zucchini with marinated Orange Salmon and Sesame Oil Dressing; Tomato Beef Consommé with Leeks, Carrots, and Zucchini; Fillet of Parrot Fish with Red Wine Butter Sauce, Bacon, Mushrooms, glazed Onions and Potato Rösti; and Candied Lemon filled with Grand Marnier Orange Cream); and Box 5 (Gratinated Oyster on a Bed of Spinach; Julienne Darblay; Sautéed Flat Iron US Beef Strips with Shallots, Vinegar Sauce, Roasted Eggplant and Potato Herbs Gnocchi; and Apple Struddle with Vanilla Brandy Sauce.)
