Richmonde in the city
MANILA, Philippines - You would think, wouldn’t you, that things cannot get any better in Eastwood City. The area has become a popular all-around commercial hub that one is tempted to think everything stops there. However, the opening of Eastwood Richmonde Hotel tells us that, yes, there really is more to offer.
Since its soft opening last December, Eastwood Richmonde has taken its place in Eastwood City. For one, it is the only premier business hotel in the location, which makes it attractive to corporate business and leisure travelers. It is within easy access to various offices, and a drive away to key metro destinations like Makati, Ortigas, Bonifacio Global City, and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. 
“Everything is within walking distance here,” begins the director of marketing, Joey Bernardino. “We have the advantage of having an address where business, shopping, dining, recreation, and entertainment come together. The location makes it safer for guests since everything is just a few steps away.”
Eastwood Richmonde, which is managed by Prestige Hotels & Resorts Inc., runs 10 guest floors, with 138 rooms classified as superior, deluxe, and bedroom suites. The resident manager, Mario Justo Jr., volunteers that they aim to redefine luxury in the best possible way.
“Our hotel rooms offer guests a wonderful experience in comfort and convenience. Each room is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection, a 37-inch high-definition LCD television, iPod dock, DVD player, bath tubs with rain showers, and Richmonde’s signature Luxe beds with 300 thread-count linens, velvety soft down feather pillows, and duvets,” he says.
Bernardino adds: “The 37-inch LCD TV is available even in our basic rooms. We basically enhanced what hotel experience is like.”
Like its location, Eastwood Richmonde has it all under one roof. Business, health, and leisure facilities are aplenty. Its business center offers secretarial, fax, photocopying, and courier services. There are also computer and presentation equipment available, as well as a broadband Internet access, a conference room, and serviced offices. The hotel’s function rooms can cater to meetings while the ballroom can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Health buffs will find the fitness center to their liking, with a breathtaking, unobstructed view of the city as an added bonus. The center has a gym, sauna rooms, and an outdoor swimming pool. Massage service, spa, and beauty salon services are found within the hotel.
This experience extends to the hotel’s restaurant outlets found at the lobby level. The Eastwood Café is the main outlet and boasts of a menu that fuses international and local cuisine. It has its own private dining area for 20 persons, too. The Lounge has also become a favorite meeting spot of business associates and friends with its impressive lineup of beverages and light snacks.
“Another outlet called The Gallery will open soon. It is going to be an ideal nightspot that features a variety of entertainment, fine drinks, and tasty chow. We highly recommend it as a place to unwind after work or during weekends. Another outlet that recently opened is Choi’s Palace which offers authentic Chinese cuisine and lauriat selections,” says Justo.
He revealed that during the first quarter of 2011 Eastwood Richmonde would be fully operational and would start “providing our customers with first-rate facilities, exciting packages, and promotions coupled with excellent services that will exceed expectations.”
Furthermore, he announced the upcoming Valentine’s room promotion, which will run from Feb. 7 to 28. It will present the Indulgence Package, which includes in-room dining with special room amenities and a romantic Valentine dinner for two at the Eastwood Café. Guests can opt for the room with the Spa Package. Rates start at P7,400 net.
Justo stresses, “We want our guests to delight in the distinct experience we offer. That is why we say ‘Distinctly Richmonde, Distinctly Personal’ in our tagline. It really is what we do best.”
