New Year glitter at Pan Pacific Manila

-

MANILA, Philippines –  The guests and butlers of Pan Pacific Manila welcomed the New Year with a glittering countdown party.

Held in the beautifully decorated Pacific Lounge, located at the 21st floor of the hotel, guests were greeted with spectacular views of the city lights and early fireworks display from the lounge’s floor-to-ceiling glass walls while they enjoyed deliciously prepared dishes on the international dinner buffet, which included a carving station of prime rib and leg of lamb, seafood selections such as fresh oysters, tropical seaweeds and deepsea crabs, hot dishes of Moroccan fish stew, oxtail in red wine and mushroom and vegetable casserole, and sweet desserts of mini opera slices, tiramisu, assorted pralines, and Christmas cookies.

Guests also indulged in servings of pork chops, tenderloin, prawns and tuna mackerel, cooked in a special barbecue station at the garden and gazebo.

Raffle prizes were also given away that night which included wines from Future Trade, gift certificates for pre-dinner cocktails and sunset barbecues at the Pacific Lounge, overnight stays with breakfast at Pan Pacific Manila, and accommodation gift certificates from partner hotels in Manila and Vietnam.

The night also featured one of the hottest Latin bands in the country, Arriba, which played popular Latin and contemporary songs while the guests danced to their hearts’ content.

The night ended spectacularly as guests watched Manila’s fireworks display at the hotel helipad with sparkling wine to welcome 2011.
