Christmas, New Year at Taal Vista
MANILA, Philippines – Celebrate Christmas the Taal Vista Hotel way for the whole month of December.
Unwind at the hotel’s lobby with festive drinks as the cool Tagaytay air is filled with the smell from the gingerbread house. Spot Santa Claus as he makes special visits to the hotel’s fireplace.
Until Dec. 24, the Taal Vista Hotel Choir performs nightly from 5:30 to 7 p.m. At the patio, Chef Babes Austria gives her personal twist on classic Filipino fares — suman, bibingka, Churroz con chocolate and puto bumbong — available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Festive meals at the Café on the Ridge are highlighted by a carving station only for this month. Savor the hotel’s lunch and dinner buffets with international and traditional Filipino fiesta cuisine.
And lastly, celebrate the New Year with revelry and flair with Taal Vista’s “Bubbles and Blasts” New Year’s Eve countdown party in the Grand Ballroom.
From 7 p.m., partake of the buffet dinner, and dance and groove to the music of Noah’s Ark and Maximum Vive. At the stroke of midnight, toast the New Year with sparkling wine as a fireworks display fills the evening sky.
