Enjoy priceless journeys with PAL, MasterCard
MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Airlines (PAL) and MasterCard announced promotions that give MasterCard cardholders the chance to win as many as 180,000 Mabuhay Miles in the Soaring Higher promo and roundtrip tickets in the Barkada Flights promo.
Prizes can be used for travel to any of PAL’s local, regional or international destinations.

To qualify for the Soaring Higher promo, cardholders must purchase a PAL domestic, regional or international electronic ticket (e-ticket) through PAL ticket offices in the Philippines or through the PAL Internet booking engine using any Philippine-issued MasterCard until Oct. 31 for travel until Dec. 15.
Mabuhay Class tickets (Premium and Classic) bought at ticket offices earn five and four raffle entries, respectively, while Fiesta Class tickets (Plus, Saver and Deal) earn three, two and one raffle entries, respectively.
Entries are doubled for online ticket purchases. E-tickets issued and used within the qualifying period shall be included in the raffle draw.
For the Soaring Higher promo, 10 cardholders who bought e-tickets and flew on domestic flights enjoy a chance to win 18,000 miles each.
Additionally, four cardholders who bought e-tickets and flew on regional flights stand a chance to win 80,000 miles each, while another four cardholders who bought e-tickets and flew on international flights have the chance to win 180,000 miles each.
The raffle prize will depend on the class of service of the purchased and flown e-tickets, that is, domestic tickets entitle the cardholder to only win the prize for domestic flights.
Passengers may win more than once. The winning e-ticket number will be drawn electronically on Feb. 15, 2011. Prizes may be claimed upon surrender of the winning ticket’s boarding pass.
For the Barkada Flights promo, cardholders stand a chance to win a free round-trip ticket on the same route and class of service.
They simply have to purchase a minimum of two qualified PAL roundtrip Mabuhay Class or three qualified PAL round-trip Fiesta Class tickets using their MasterCard card.
Those traveling to domestic destinations can buy their tickets until Oct. 31 and use them until Nov. 30. Regional and international travelers have until Sept. 7 to purchase their tickets and must use these anytime from Sept. 16 to Nov. 30. The promo, however, is not applicable for travel between Oct. 22 and Nov. 7.
